This large bowl combines classic and modern influences to create a calming and tranquil piece. The birds sit happily on their wire and the glaze is a matt cream with brown flecks creating a sense of movement.
The bowl makes a great fruit bowl or serving dish as they measure between 25-27cm in diameter and 6-7cm in height.
I hand make every piece on the wheel in my studio in Bucks. These are made from stoneware clay. They are food safe and can go in the dishwasher.
