We all have our unique and special talents and qualities. For some of us, these can make us stand out, some call it neurodiversity. These butterflies represent the norm but also how one is different and free. Able to live outside the confines of society and discover the world through their unique perspective.
This is such a special piece that was many months in creation. Each part of the butterfly is skilfully hand crafted, the wings and body are then carefully attached.
These butterflies are hand made by Jayne from glass through a process called kiln forming and they start as crushed glass. Each measures 4cm across. the 16 butterflies are framed in a 5cm deep oak frame, also hand made by Jayne. The whole piece measures 48cm x 48cm and comes ready to hang including hangers and string.
