My work is all about the memory of childhood — all that fun, excitement, and freedom it holds. It's during those early years that you really develop your sense of self, figuring out your place in the world.
I try and evoke a smile and sense of belonging through my pieces. A feeling of nostalgia along side inspiring something new and exciting in the present.
I work mainly in ceramics and glass and each piece is handcrafted in my studio in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. I throw on a pottery wheel and glaze every piece so it is totally individual.
BUTTERFLIES
We all have our unique and special talents and qualities. For some of us, these can make us stand out, some call it neurodiversity. These butterflies represent the norm but also how one is different and free. Able to live outside the confines of society and discover the world through their unique perspective
REMINISCE
My sister and I made countless cherished memories during our childhood, from crabbing at the beach with makeshift lines and cheese sandwiches, to the thrilling sensation of near-flight on our old garden swing as it lifted from the ground. It's more than just childhood; it's the foundation of who we become.
